6 Week Beginners Yoga Course


Yoga is for every-body!

If you’ve always wanted to try yoga but feel intimidated starting in a large class of experienced yogis or you’ve been practicing for a while and want to refine your practice, learn about philosophy, alignment, anatomy and build your practice this program is perfect for you. This 6 week beginners yoga course includes six classes held in a welcoming environment that will guide you through a holistic program. You will learn the foundation practices in all areas of yoga including: yoga philosophy, movement, breath, core, balance, meditation and life-style. Special therapeutic attention is given to each individual to establish a progressive practice that meets you where you are. All levels are welcome.

  • Week 1 – Yoga Philosophy, Yogic breathing & seated postures 

  • Week 2 – Common postures, forward bending & standing postures

  • Week 3 – Backward Bending & twists

  • Week 4 – Balancing postures 

  • Week 5 – Mudras, Bandhas & Pranayama

  • Week 6 – Weaving it all together in flow

2 options: 

Thursdays 9:30-10:45am

or 

Saturdays 9-10:15am
