Yin Yoga - Deep Stretch

Yin Yoga is a slower deep stretch style of practice that is suitable for all levels of practitioners and perfect for beginners.

The poses are practiced grounded on the mat and designed to get deep into the connective tissue in our body, the ligaments, joint capsules and even the bones.

It is a perfect complement to a more dynamic muscular (yang) style of practice and other forms of high intensity workouts as well as assisting our stiff joints with more fluidity, mobility & flexibility, as we age and recover from injury this form of exercise is highly beneficial. READ MORE HERE.

Hatha/Vinyasa

Vinyasa ( translates to “flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures, or asanas, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice.

Our classes are designed to cultivate heat in the body with creative sequences involving sun salutations, standing and seated postures, back bending, arm balancing, and a strong focus on the power of breath awareness.

Modifications are given allowing the students to choose a more beginning or more advanced practice according to their needs.

Beginners + all levels are welcome.

Hatha Foundations

Hatha is a potent alignment-oriented practice that emphasizes alignment and breath while entering, holding, and leaving the posture. It uses postures (asanas) and stretches in combination with the breath while holding the poses to develop flexibility and relaxation.

A steady practice with focus on proper alignment and holding of poses to engage, building strength, stamina, flexibility and balance as well as improving concentration and breath control.

Good choice for beginners, great for all levels. A strong yoga practice begins with a sturdy foundation, this class can fine tune even an advanced practice.

Yogalates

It is a gentle fusion of yoga and pilates, that relaxes the mind and body, while strengthening the core, through deep breathing and gentle movements.

Yogalates will increase your range of motion, flexibility and tone your muscles, making you feel relaxed and stronger. This class is for everyone.

Pilates

Our Pilates class is designed to challenge the beginner and the practicing Pilates student. Pilates improves strength, flexibility, balance, control and muscular symmetry.

The rhythmic exercises promote elongated and toned muscles, and are noted for developing abdomen, lower back and buttocks strength, and create a strong body core.

Meditation and Pranayama (Breath)


This class consists of a beginning breath work and then progressing into guided mindfulness meditation, short break with discussion on bringing meditation into our daily lives and a second seated guided meditation. We will review appropriate sitting postures for meditation.

Learn how to calm your mind, settle your body and find a softer focus off the mat.

Beginners to practicing meditators will benefit from this class.

30 mins ABS

A fun packed 30 minutes designed to tone, build and strengthen the abdominal muscles. During the class, we use various skills and techniques to target the core muscles; including floor routines, full body stretches and fast-paced exercises.
